I would like to personally thank all of the great Grandmasters,Masters and dedicated Instructors that participated in the 2009 Karate Tournament of Champions (KToC). Over the years, KToC has grown tremendously. I could not have done it with out your support.
I would like to thank all of the judges for their hard work; I know it was a long day. Special thanks goes out to Sensei Garth Binns, Sa Bum Nim Dave Moradi and Sensei John Rullan for their hard work in coordinating the rings and Kyoshi Dave Thomas for arbitrating the rings.
I sincerely appreciate you bringing your students to participate and for helping make the event a success. KToC 2010 will be held on November 21, 2010 and the Fitzgerald Gymnasium at Queens College in Flushing Queens. This is a spacious facility with ample seating and ample free parking. There will be plenty of room for everyone!
KToC had visitors from all over the world, Pakistan, Columbia, Poland, Chicago and Bermuda. As New Yorkers, we showed them great humility and great competition. They all had a great time and we hope they will join us next year.
We will be adding more rings and more divisions and KToC will be better than ever.
